How to change subscription fee?

I currently have a PayPal's Subscribe button on my page but what if I wanted to increase the price for subscription? I know that I can edit the button to charge more, but how can I increase it also for all of the current subscribers?

As far as my knowledge you can't do that (change subscription fee in currently ongoing subscription payment). You need to cancel those subscriptions and again start it with new subscription (with new price).

Well, that just sucks. :( How can I cancel everyone's subscription when it is automatically billed recurringly every month? I need to notify each person separately and let them know that their subscription was canceled and that they have to subscribe again for a higher price. They will tell me why don't you increase the fee without us having to subscribe again. This is stupidity to the fullest.

some subscribers may not be willing to pay a higher price and would prefer to cancel the subscription.

that is why it is needed....;).

My price is too low right now. They want higher prices! :) Higher price = better service!

I was making a general statement.

Some service providers may increase their rates sharply and this may not go down well with the subscribers.

a subscription is an agreement between 2 parties and both parties should be aware and willing before the rates are increased.

that's true but right now there is no option for that. You have to cancel the first and make it again. Although I too believe that there should be that kind of option that will be helpful.

Yes, but the other party would be notified by us before any price changes take effect and also that party can cancel their subscription at any time so it still does not make any sense.
