    Hello folks,

I just thought of informing you about Name.com's Domain Nabber-Beta

Noticed it just now at name.com's page...

    Domain Nabber

It gives the list of expiring domains with their yahoo backlinks status irrespective of their registrar.ie,domains expiring at other registrars will also be listed here...

    It sounds really cool....

Wow....Found a 11 years old health domain with in minutes...Awesome..

But i would have liked it more if it lists the pagerank of the domains along with the yahoo back links....

what do you think about this?:)

yea its good, but i dont know whether they will be able to catch drops
i jus backordered one and will keep u posted

one thing which i dont like in name.com name nabber

    1. you gotta pay the fee for domain nabbing service b4 u place an order
    2. no assurance of their nabbing service
    3. no refund, the amount which u paid will be reverted to your name.com account for your future nabs or domain orders.

if any one nabbed a doamin by nabber backorderin in name.com kindly share your view about name.com nabber service which is still in beta.

1.You have to pay in advance for the domain you are interested in.They refund full money if they fail to backorder the domain for us.
2.Most of the domains are banned in Google.

they refund to your name.com account and not to your paypal or your credit card. the refund can be used for future nabbing or to purchase a domain from name.com.

i place an order to check how they working and lets see if they gonna catch it for me .

Services like this make me wary and i try to avoid using them.

I prefer to use tools that tell me the expiry dates and not them in the calender.

this is exactly why I will never, ever do a backorder for a domain name - regardless of if it's on Godaddy, name.com or anywhere else. It's like throwing your money in the garbage. You're basically hoping the domain isn't on auto-renew...but honestly, how many people forget to turn that option on, especially since it's default in almost all registrars??

None of those places charge you unless you actually get the domain. Otherwise you will be refunded, or in godaddy's case you are credited a back order and can use it as many times as you want in till you get a domain you want.

you can set the refund criteria in your account settings. by default they add to name.com credit but u can ask refund to paypal also if they failed to grab the domain
