Hey guys, I have built my site a few months back. I want to create traffic to it. I am hosting hubpages blogs and also article submissions. I need advise on how to increase my traffic. Create great content, start a blog and publish great posts and then promote those posts on site such as stumble upon, digg, yahoo buzz etc. Also read up on seo so you can start improving your ranking for keywords that you want to target.
Make sure you're choosing highly targeted keywords for your SEO building. This should be #1 on your list of priorities as you start to build your campaign. Good luck
Start building or buying links. Just make sure that if you buy links to let the Webmaster know to no-follow your links otherwise you can get into a lot of trouble with the engines....this all reverts back to basic seo...create some viral content...there are tons of things you can do...google it...lol
Social Media Channels seem to work pretty well for these types of Websites. I would find a good niche group to join in each of the major portals and start slowly promoting your Website to build your list. Then you have bargaining chips to build it up even faster. Once you have a decent list (at least 2k+) you can approach different Joint-Venture partners and email out for each other. In other words, if you have a list and a product you want to promote you can request JVs from other 'related' Websites. My company has built up a subscriber list of over 450k and everytime we mail out for JVs they mail out an equivalent amount of emails. This helps us both build our lists with each other's subscribers.
Another good way that I have been using for a long time is to Join as many Yahoo Groups within your Niche Market as you can, then when you post a message to the Group it goes out to all Group Members that are accepting e-mails from Members!. Some Yahoo Groups have up to 8,000 Members, so you will get at least 1,000 Visitors a day by spending 1 hour a day sending Yahoo Group Messages. I hope this helps
Try writing some articles to gain backlinks. It's a good way to have your keywords in anchor text pointing to your website.

ok guys been working on seo for the site and now the site is up on google as well as yahoo and msn. google has about 465 pagesfrom my site.. Now the cystats unique visitors is 150-165 with out bots but still the click on adsense is close to nil.. can anybody review the site and suggest to inclrease the click through. will highlighting the google ads help? Im as lazy as they come when it comes to these things, usually i hire a freelance writer (scriptlance) havin him write about 20 articles related to the niche and also have him submit to all major article sites. Make sure you read them over before he/she submits. i have had this done for $30
