Hello guys, I am planning to start my own blog all about SEO, Search Engine Marketing and Webmaster blog. A lot of questions here: 1. What should I use? Blogger or WordPress? 2. If WP, how can I attach my Google Adsense ads? 3. What web hosting with free domain name is recommended? 4. What suggested templates/scripts, add-ons or plug-ins should I attach in my blog? 5. How can I generate unique visitors which are legitimate, not "blackhat" in what way? 6. Are there any SEO-related keywords which are relevant and highly paid in Adsense clicks? I would appreciate your honest thoughts and sharing here, because I want my blog to be successful like everyone else, when it comes to Adsense and traffic. Thanks in advance guys! Cheers!
1. This depends on what features you need. I would go with Wordpress, because of the huge amount of plugins. 2. Some themes have adsense features built in, but if they dont you can use plugins best being adsense delux in my opinion http://www.acmetech.com/blog/2005/07/26/adsense-deluxe-wordpress-plugin/ 3. I would recommend you register your own domain at a company like dynadot, but Ive lunar pages is pretty good. 4. I cant suggest any, because I dont really know what features you need. 5. You can affiliate or use traffic exchanges. I can give you a link to one. Just PM me. 6. I dont know.
its probably not good now that there are lots of webmasters who has that kind of site and are now established.
I gotta be honest. To answer the thread title "Is it good to start a webmaster/seo blog?" No. I don't think you should. Never mind that it is probably the most over saturated, competitive niche on all of the www, more so than video game blogs that every 12 year old with a computer that knows about Blogger seems to have. But the fact that you are asking Webmaster/SEO questions before you even get it started means that you don't have any expertise to offer and will just be regurgitating content and advice that you find somewhere else, therefore, making your blog just like thousands of others with a very high rate of failure....or at least not making any money. Blog about something you know, no matter how small the niche and be the better than everyone else in the niche (or at least 90% of them). JMO.
lol its simpl. webmasters don't click ads. so don't create sites for webmasters, infact we never even click ads here in DP. unless accidentally.
