Seems like clickbank's new updates have diminished my sales again! Anyone else having issues? I'm shutting down PPC campaigns now!
My conversions are in the tank as well, I'm hoping it's just because of the long weekend and things will pick up again in a few days.
One of the reasons, I keep coming back to DP is to check on trends. Is it my business strategy at fault or is the world buying less this week? If I read a thread like this where most respondents are doing the same as I am sale-wise, I can relax and know that this is a mini-business cycle. If opposite reports come in, than it maybe time to recalibrate the business strategy. From this thread, I gather we just need to weather a slight storm... and business will rebound soon.
^ Not so true - I find that these threads simply proactively invite anyone and everyone who's having issues/delays/slow periods/etc. and not many are going to jump in to save the day anymore like we use to try to do. Even if you posted a thread saying "I'm doing GREAT lately, anyone else?" - I'm sure most would still come in and complain. Also there are more silent earners among us than you can imagine. Rightfully so, they don't want to even hint that their strategies are working or that they are having a great sales phase... The odd time you see it, and the only thing that happens is that person gets raped for their info and their sigs/strategies... What if I said last week was an amazing week for me? Or that I made 10K in a day... would it really make you work harder just because a post on a thread say's so despite the rest of the haters saying otherwise? Don't forget there's over 100K affiliates throughout the world - and sorry but no the creme of the crop do not all aggregate at DP, in fact only a few of the big hitters do, the rest are small to mid level players going through shitty learning curves like a factory of basic marketing robots.. I think I've only seen ONE real report with viable and probable proof that things were screwed with CB for a while. It was last year and the affiliate looked after 30-40 campaigns, and got xxx transactions a day consistently for quite some time - then it dropped to xx a day for no reason. << THAT is something worth looking into. You guys getting 1-5 sales a day are playing in a whole different field - I call it the 'variable change' field. So much changes so often with campaigns/life cycles/trends/seasons/etc. that until you find a real quality campaign and quickly scale it/repeat, you'll find it hard to find consistency getting small numbers like that day to day month to month doing what everyone else is doing... /.02.
^ One of the reasons, I keep coming back to DP is the replies to threads that give valuable insight or other information. The above reply is one such example. The insightful reply is, as I understand it, stating that these types of threads are of slight value because there is little data (too few sales/day) underpinning the replies. A good point - all of DP's threads must be taken with a grain of salt. I also like what the above responder states about campaigns - the more campaigns you have running the more useful your views of trends becomes... That may be an inspiration to some to get to work on campaigns... And, of course, the big players don't usually want to give anything away to potential competitors... Yet, I sometimes get a psychological boost from these types of threads, even if reading (and responding to) this thread just gives me a mental break from my real work. Thanks!
I find it funny that you'd asume that I make 1-5 sales a day! You don't know me from Adam yet you want to assume that I'm a small time player who does'nt have any real data? I wonder what your motives are? Are you protecting CB's reputation so you can lure more affiliates to promote your "FOREX" sites? By the way...what's your refund % on those "FOREX" sites. Since you've presumed to know me, let me presume to know you! You're a VENDOR with no real affiliate data other than what you've been spoon fed in your CB dashboard. I have Multiple PPC campaigns converting at 1/10 to 1/15 over a 2 year period! When I see even one, let alone several of those campaigns drop to 1/100 to 1/150 something is wrong! Plain & Simple! Sorry NC, did'nt mean to be rude but you should be careful with what or whom you assume to know! Funniest thing of all was I was about to start promoting one of NCMedias products!
Yeah me too, I've always wondered what the refund rate on those forex products were? I hear tons of vendors going on about their conversions but not the refund rate!! Of course if it was bad you wouldn't mention it but I'm sure its pretty good!
Wow dude, You really misunderstood me, or I should have been more clear as not to make it seem like I'm trying to throw my comments directly at YOU - was referring to most newbies at DP that jump on these threads (you know they do!). I'm also merely responding to the guy above me and offering a different point of view. Carnano I remember you from time mate and would never point a finger at someone like you solely or try to discredit you when you're right - I know nothing about you... Apologies for what it's worth, again my comment wasn't aimed at any one person and for all I know you make xxx sales a day, just most here don't and want to reassure them that it's not necessarily due to some technical change or upgrade to a function at CB. The forex days for me are long gone actually (sold them all) however I don't blame you for the jab. Best of luck and cheers to getting your sales back in order. NC. PS. Refund rates ranged from 8% - 40% << yes 40% << yes pretty much ALL EA's go that high during crap market phases and the fx enthusiasts are notorious for returning/buying the next hot one/repeating... anyway enough about that.
omg, my sales have went way down in the last month... also my refunds have went way up. this is not good.
Have to agree with you that most here that make complaints are affiliates that make 1-2 sales a day and have not enough data to make a statement. I think what happens is they get used to making these numbers then when it disappears they think something is wrong with the system, they tend to forget there are other factors like SERPS, increased competition and so forth..... Remember its labor weekend in the US so people will be out for a short holiday too!!
Thanks NC...much appreciated! I should have known you were'nt coming at me, but it sure seemed like it. I always thought you were a "Class Act" and thankfully I was right all along! I'm Sorry too mate! It just seems like I come here to see if anyone else is experiencing one of those famous Clickbank Down Cycles after an update and I get attacked for being negative. In truth, I'm just trying to see if my campaign is dying, or if I just need to wait it out. I spend alooot of money on advertising and I need to manage it properly.
Last month from the 22nd to the 1st of sept...I had 0 sales for 9 days, and I usually make at least one sale per day. Then on the 2nd I made $45 and then another $137 on the 3rd of sept and its back to normal again, well so far cuz I cant login today cuz of labor day. They recently did scheduled maintenance so that's my guess for the problems.
For some reason I still read threads like these, It wasent long ago I would read these threads and then feel cheated by CB, thinking that it was their tracking technology. It made me feel better for not make a sale that day or even going backwards. I read a post by NCMedia, which basically said, " put your head down and get to work ". I owe my success to reading that. So now when I see these threads I just smile and get back to work. By the way, thanks NC.
