    Hello,

I have a domain name whose whois information is not updated.

Requested registrar but yet no reply.....

I want to know whether WHOIS is automatically updated?

    Thank You!

It depends where you bought the domain, some providers update your WHOIS information right away (for example namecheap.com) while others take a little longer. When did you change your information and who is your provider ?

I recommend to wait some time and if you don't get a response from the registrar move your domain to another one.

Just give it some time - over a weekend (and a holiday one in some parts of the country, at that), it may be at the start of the work week before you hear anything back.

You can check the whois info on any domain registrar website, e. g. goddady or enom. Most of the web hosting companies also provide whois search.

Some whois is caching the database. So it will showing old data. Thats why it depend on where you check the whois information
