I almost forgot, If you are tracking conversion You can set your campaign to Pay-Per-Conversion. All you got to do is make about 20 conversions in certain time, and then you'll have the option to choose the Pay-Per-Conversion campaign.
You mean Conversion Optimizer? Yes i see this option in my campaign. Has anyone used it? I would appreciate the feedback of Conversion Optimizer. --DJ
nope. It is the option you'd only see when you've completed certain-amount-of-goals/conversions in certain amount of time. Say if you reached that level, you'll see this option. So now its R.O.I guaranteed. By paying per conversion, adwords will only deduct your funds only when a conversion occurs. No matter how many clicks you've got, youd only need to pay for every conversion.
Guys, Finally the campaign is profitable, after continuously tweaking and tweaking, i have got some nice converting keywords. Budget became very big and now daily spending has reached around $200 a day. Still running for US & Canada, will start today for UK & Australia as well. Here is a quick update: Ad Spend So Far:$2875.86 Sales: $2933.34 Profit: $57.48 Its now going to be more profitable. I will start some more ad groups to make it more profitable. --DJ
Conversion optimizer still incurs a cost per click, it targets a set cpa, and it usually works pretty good, but it can take 2 to 4 weeks to really start working.
Wow, I don't think we've seen anyone as courageous as you to play out $2K before getting a profitable campaign. I really hope your journey will inspire myself and others to get the hell off article marketing and start using PPC .
as you can see, PPC isnt something you can do with $5 bucks. You need some huge capital in order to see some profit, you'll make money but like the hundreds of other marketing methods "IT TAKES TIME"
Are you tracking every keyword and analysing the traffic source? Thre are free tools that you can use for this.
I want to know more!!!! Great read so far! I am very curious to see how this continues. If you make a decent profit make sure you write an ebook about it and sell it on CB Seriously though I am waiting on your next update
for the time being, i am using conversion tracking feature only, that tells me which keyword is converting. Thanks akdiver, Once the campaign is fully successful (once i start getting $100+ per day just from this campaign), i will write an ebook and give free of cost. That will help fellow members. Here is an Update: Adpsend: $3667.49 Sales: 3751.93 Profit: $84.44 I have started the same campaign with the converting keywords on yahoo as well Msn, already got 3 sales from MSN. Yahoo's system is a bit complex, i am trying to understand it. Will keep you guys updated. I really look forward to this campaign. --DJ
that's great buddy ! giving free is like contributing to the community I congratulate you for this hope you make great profits Good luck!
Good job mate, keep it up! D: I actually also have $500 to use on PPC, and I'm just reading about it before I start. I figured I might as well try it out since the worst that can happen is I lose $500, but it's $500, I can earn that back if I do some work. If it works out then I might get some where good with it. I don't think I'll be able to get that far though, I only have about $1000 if I really wanted to keep doing.. I'm 16 years old unemployed and in full time education though. But what you've done is pretty awesome, hope your profits keep increasing and I'll be looking forward to the ebook!
Im also on the same affiliate ppc experiment but with clickbank products thru msn and yahoo for a start. That's because i can hardly find a clickbank product to promote that's not already on google adwords. Your case study is a little too expensive to begin with. So my approach is a little different - but we have the same goals though. That is to eventually profit with ppc affiliate marketing. Can give me a good tip on these 2 questions please: Any expert on this subject can answer too id appreciate it.. #1 Question - I can't use my clickbank affiliate link on yahoo - it says it's too long. How do you go around this problem guys? Like shortening my affiliate link or what. Im not using a landing page by the way. Im doing an experiment on direct linking with msn and yahoo. I know landing pages are good, but i want to focus more on going from one product to another using very few keywords each - like maybe 2 to 5 very targeted sure profit keywords. So, my goal is to keep on discovering new clickbank products and keep adding them to my campaigns. #2 Question- Any tip of finding clickbank products not being promoted on adwords yet?
1. You need to use landing page on Adwords otherwise you'll ended up with Low Quality Score. However this is not necessary with Yahoo. 2. No.
