hi guys, I have searched the internet about the iphone 3g a lot, but maybe it is better to ask directly from people who own it. Are you satisfied with your iPhone 3G? currently I own a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and I am thinking of changing it with an iPhone. Is this a wise decision?
Well, you should go for Nokia N97 ! Iphone is not cool and good as Nokia N97. N97 has got several features which Iphone can't have ever. - Digital -
Iphone is ok what iritates me is that to buy iphone u have to also keep a contract with a telecommuncation company
I've used Nokia N96, iPhone 2G , iPhone 3G , Sony Ericcson Xperia X1 , Nokia 5800 In the last few months and I can say iPhone is the best phone available in today's market , Its a revolution . With over thousands of applications you can customize your phone anyway you want ; Though using the software unlocked version gives you the access to all the apps . I've been using iPhone since last 2.5 years and am 100% satisfied with it , I don't think i need anything else from a phone . Currently , I am using an iPhone 3G and a Nokia N96 . I use Nokia just to answer calls on my other no. Soon , i will be upgrading to iPhone 3GS , as soon as it launches in India . I'd recommend you to go with the iPhone .
Well, I don't think Xperia is better ! There is nothing special in it ! And the quality is low in Xperia... too much low// - Digital -
Instead of iPhone 3G, why don't you go with iPhone 3GS? One thing that I don't like about Apple is every year, they will be an upgrade version of their products with the same name but with an extra functions. Most phone functionalities are quite the same this today, it's a matter of taste and money in your pocket right now. - Dynashox -
quality of what is low in xperia? according to gsm arena website, Xperia is the best phone, with over 106000 votes. take a look: http://www.gsmarena.com/stats.php3 iPhone is not even in the list.
I like mine (I have a 3G, but not a 3GS). Probably not worth upgrading to a 3GS for me, but it's my favorite cell phone I've had to date (I used a blackberry before my iPhone). The built-in apps are really nice with tons of advanced features (like being able to choose secure/SSL mail servers for email, full VPN support, etc.) Just the sheer amount of apps available for iPhone kinda puts it above all other cell phones in my opinion, because if there's something you want to do, it would be incredibly rare and obscure if there wasn't already an app for it. What I *don't* like about it... No MMS (although coming on September 25th finally via software update), no tethering (also coming on September 25th), lame Bluetooth (can't sync files or contacts over Bluetooth to things like my navigation system in my car), can't mount it as a volume on my computer by default (but you can with an app).
@TS, i've similar thinking with dynashox. Why don't u prefer Iphone 3GS? It'll be released in reasonable price if u're living in USA?
