When you reach the Meta level, you can even start to approve your own applications. Don't stop at only different nicknames, a quick gender change and becoming a middle age woman can help too.

Just imagine boredom for Metas waiting for real applications ; that is why they have Unlimited Accounts just like in credit cards American Express Centurion. :D
Yeah. You might get an interest in Kids and Teens. You can act like one too.;)

My biographies section has 76 people already listed and I plan to add few hundred more and some of them are also in Spanish and soon Czech beside English, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian - talk about multiple personality haven. :D

That reminds I have to remember to submit new languages deeplinks to proper World categories. ;)

As unbelievable that it sounds, compare to some of the "senior" editors, Ivan sounds very normal.

I guess it would be quite foolish of me to actually expect you to have even one shred of evidence to back this claim up...

EDIT: I think misunderstood which post you were referring too?

Fired??? You mean other editors get paid, have dental plan, pension? I always miss on things... :(

EDIT: But this comment is fine. :D

Didn't you know that gworld is also orlady, popotalk is jimnoble, and I am still in as KC? Really sid, you are just soooo out of touch. Those times KC and I clashed? I had forgotten to take the medication.

You already do without trying. But seriously I have to admit that that one is a worry. We know for certain there was at least one pedophile in DMOZ ranks. But underage editors are not restricted to K&T and most K&T editors are adults.

I take that as an insult.

There is still no restriction for underage editors to access the adult discussion section where they can be served with such subjects as rape, torture, bestiality and some other hardcore and illegal porn. There is no real age check for adult editors either.

LOL. That my friend is hilarious. :D
I'm young at heart and my hair is my asset.:D How's yours :D
That is why it is a failure. Its so EASY and SIMPLE. brizzie can even get Unlimted Accounts if he wants to. They lost a good Female Regional Editor just because of it.

Don't give up your day job, Ivan, whatever that is. That's about the third (lame) attempt at humor I've seen from you today and they all pretty much dropped like a stone.

Why would I want to? If I was interested in all things SEO I would focus my attentions on more productive things than DMOZ editing. If I was interested in multiple accounts I would hardly have resigned an (apparently lucrative) editall account. I know it is easy to do but what is the point?

Can you provide evidence that you are not? It is just as credible a proposition as your claim to senior editors having multiple personalities. And of course if you were trying to hide the connection then you would fake offence. :) Sorry, but I think you have been outed. To know beyond all doubt, as apparently you do, that senior editors hold multiple accounts you would have to be one of those senior editors yourself. Makes sense.

As my profiles says I don't have one which leaves me with too much free time and yes my sense of humor was shaped by years of watching Monty Python's Flying Circus, I should really find something useful to do now.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/20/business/20model.html

A very interesting article about child porn sites trying to skirt the law by posting provocative pictures of children that are clothed.

    Sickening. :(

(posting it here as this is the most recent thread that was originally about pedophiles/child porn)

    I agree with Minstrel.

Nothing can ever excuse knowingly providing safe harbour for websites containing child pornography or any of the other types of sites mentioned. It is not a question of whether the links are being harmful or not. It is a question of the fact that such sites are a blight on society and should not even exist, let alone be linked to and openly endorsed by a company who should clearly being doing far more to protect their reputation as a quality service provider.

I have not bothered looking to see if sites owned by paedophiles or those promoting self-harm are linked from DMOZ. What I will say though is if such links to exist they should be removed once discovered.

The open nature of the Internet should not be extended to the promotion of websites or other mediums pertaining to the matters discussed here. It all comes down to the decency of society.
