basically when google removes your listing from its index, or removes your page rank.. the easiest way to get this is by selling links or building links to your site to fast

 

There are several rumors about how google reacts on certain things and so on, but there is only very little proofe about all this. The only thing I can tell you is when google removes your site, then you did something they did not want you to do. But depending how popular your site is it might take months before they actually remove your site.

I have 5 years old website kokkada.com. Now i delete all content (25,000 articles) of kokkada.com and make it has new technology blog.

Page rank of kokkada.com 0 (last year 5). I think now penalty of kokkada.com removed. In google search, kokkada.com list on first page.

How to find my PR penalty removed or not?

 

once your rank is gone, traffic fluctuate, there is penalty from google to your site.

sometimes it can be an update, ie google shuffle, happend to me several times and it always came back after a week or two... in fact im going through this right now

I am also experiencing the same for one of my blogs. In fact it has happened in past as well. My blog is about 2 years old and is on blogspot. Last time it happened was in Feb-march period. I think this is a Google Dance. But I also worry if it is Google Caffeine update that is causing all this. SO how should I take this fluctuation?

 

I am also having problems - my blog has gone from no 3-4 on main keyword to not even in top 1000 - the site is still there so don't think its banned - what's happening? (site is in my sig)

 

my rankings disappeared on sept 6. a couple of my keywords that were at 8-12 are now at 750+. i've been building a lot of links to my site over the last couple months. i'm pretty sure it's a google dance. the rankings are being recalculated. i don't know when they are going to come back, but it usually doesn't last more than a week

 

My site re-appeared today (back to same position and a bit higher - so google must be doing some updating. Hope everyone's sites come good soon. Maybe a PR update and google caffeine is on its way?
