I'm getting around a few clicks on my new blog www.gadgetsgrid.com but I'm not paid for them. In last seven days I've seen almost 99% clicks not counted. Now the regular question arisis how do I know when ads gets clicked?? I'm using both statcounter and mybloglog to see the exit links. Isnt there a way around or I should remove the ads completely.
I often see clicks recorded on statcounter that I don't get paid for (I also get paid for clicks i don't see on statcounter). I think it is fairly common to have these, but not 99% of the time! It looks like Google is deeming these to be invalid clicks. You should contact them about it (although there is no promise they will respond), but it might be that someone is click bombing your site, which may set you up to be banned if you don't report it to Google. I would also take the ads down for now, until you can resolve the problem.
Its probably because you are getting invalid clicks. Better report it to Google Adsense in order to be safe. - Digital -
does statcounter have the ability to tell how many clicks were made on the site? : let me know where?
It might be invalid clicks that are made. I don't think you should do something with it, because I think Google knows what's going on. It can be worth a try to send a mail, but don't expekt an answer.
report it so that google doesn't think YOU are the one doing the invalid clicks. if they do then = ban! have you got "paid" traffic coming to your site? if so, these will always be worthless as google knows how to distinguish the real clicks from the fake ones
thanx for all the replies.I'll give some more time to adsense to see what happens in long time. @myfreeseotips I'm not paying for any traffic.all the traffic comes from search engines or forum signatures. @boring I see the exit link activity of my blog which shows how many ads were clicked.
