Hundreds of articles but no sales ...

    Hi,

I've been doing article marketing for quite some time. I'm submitting around 5-10 articles everyday. Till now, I have hundreds of articles across 4-5 niches, but not much sale.

So what are the major problems I need to change? All feedbacks are welcome.

    Thanks!

You need to change product, write better quality content, write better reviews and use the right "keywords" correctly. You are wasting a lot of time and effort for very poor results.

I don't write very many articles but I get a sale on average for 1 out of 40 people who read the article not the landing page.

Maybe you are trying to push the sale to hard? If you do that then it's going to be hard to make the sale they, know what you are doing and don't even spend the time to read and believe what your article says.

Remember these 3 words for affiliate marketing: Presell, Value & Benefits

I hope your luck turns around soon!

what is the quality of your articles like? do you mind posting an example so we can give you feedback...

If it's not the articles it could be that the sales pitch isn't good enough. If you're writing about a product that you want to sell you need to list the benefits. Maybe the niches you've chosen don't have a lot of demand or you may need to look at your linking structure and make sure you're promoting your articles so they get a good amount of traffic. Where are you posting your articles?

What site(s) are you submitting them too? How many visitors are you getting to your site from them?

if your running off pure bum marketing i suggest websites built around the niche using a good 3-4 keywordset per page with at least 1 long keyword phrase per page. Then use the articles to draw traffic and backlinks.

Remember YOU are not ACTUALLY trying to sell the product, thats what the sales page does. What you need to o is give the build up to it, let them know what its about, what else is around, why this was better, how its better and i like to mention the MBG of 60 days.

Just article alone will not do I think, you need to work on creating backlinks to your article pages by using bookmarking, forum posting etc

You asked a question and many responded from their experience. Show some courtesy to acknowledge them since their time is also valuable.
Article marketing is free but it is difficult. What I find is that ,better quality articles and Lightening landing pages convert well. First you need to find a niche you are familiar with, secondly a good landing page then only good articles.Outsourced articles perform badly as far as I am concerned, since they lack the sincerity and the sense of belonging.I expect a reply from you.

Since the OP does not care to respond even once, I doubt if this thread was started purely to increase post count. I wouldn't waste my time in helping the OP with advice till we get some reverts first...

@Chancey Thanks for the advise, may I know how you choose the "right" keywords? I'm just picking based on guts feel. Any special "formula" to follow?

@jaydev I never do bookmarking etc ... Is it really necessary? I've wasted a lot of time of articles writing. Do you think it's necessary to bookmark them?

@shand0 I'm using blog as landing page. Do you think it's good?

For all, thanks for all the advises. I'm deeply touched and will not give up. I'll listen to your advises and do some changes. It doesn't make sense for me to continue my method which is proven not really working well.

I'll update my changes if my sales improved to share my new method. Currently I'm still doing some readings and researching. Nevertheless, you all are the best! Thanks!

@affiliatenewbie I'm using blog as landing page. I feel that even though the readers never buy, they'll still come back to my blog and read. I do not want to hard sell to them.

Am I doing correctly? Or should I just send them to the landing page and sales page instead?

    Thanks!

Some people say that they do good money with blogs. When first I started I did the same thing, link to a blog. And the results were poor. Then I did re-directs and the results were much better. You have to do two things: either link to a landing page or to a squuze page.
