But i do advise you go for .com first.
Its adsense safe unless your website content is illegal.

Use .com because everyone is familiar with it already. .org is usually used for nonprofits or big organizations that are already established.

i have several very nice org's - pr1.org, apisa.org...

i have adsense on the second one. i guess there is no big disadvantage with .org

 

.orgs are not so valuable as the .coms
it would only be worth if its a dictionary keyword

if you're looking to sell the domain, the org extension wont help you
it is better suited for organisations, and it is hard to find an end user which is an organisation
