How can I get indexed by Google? This is a brand new site only a few days old with several unique articles. My Digg submissions are showing up, but not the domain when I do a search for the domain. The Google bot has visited, but the domain just doesn't show up on any searches (mydomain.com). Thanks

I got kinda worried doing a search for mydomain.com and not having it show up, but I guess if there was a problem the Google bot wouldn't even be showing up. Funny I've had sites with no backlinks that show up in a day or two, but I guess I just need to be a little patient. Thanks for the link.
Have you submitted the sitemap.xml and robots file?? 1) submitt your site in social bookmarking sites (like digg, newswine etc.) 2) submit it in google webmaster tool 3) if possible place your sites link in some PR4 or PR5 sites. 4) put google anyltics code. 5) there is search engine named cuil.com, if cuils bot visited your site google spider may take time. so remove your site from cuils index. 6) do some directory submission 7) do some press release Definitely google will index your page.
As bloggers the best way to do this is to write quality content that other bloggers will link to and to interact with other bloggers on their blogs (genuinely) via their comments. This is all it should really take to get indexed by Google. Of course then you have the challenge of getting to the top of the list for the keywords that you’re wanting to target. If you have rss at your page, just use ping services to ping your site. If you don't, just add your content to social bookmark pages, it should get indexed in 2 days
Only digg is not enough, you have to do more hardwork,. You have to get more backlinks from your niche related forum, blogs as well as article submissions and other ways to get more backlinks, that will lead your page to get index as well as give more referral traffic + organic traffic too.
Basically generate good content and submit your site to google. If not google always will find your site as long as another site links to it. Make sure too generate some quality backlinks.

Just want to share my experience. My new site was indexed by Google after about 2 weeks. So I believe it would take some time.
