Hi there, Yesterday i created my facebook page but somebody suggested me to create a facebook app, it will be much beneficial for me. I dont know how to create facebook app. So please suggest me the steps to create a facebook app. I will be so much thankfull of you.
Um well first of all how software and FB savy are you? I wanted to do the same not long ago on my fanpage but looked daunting! Do you even know what kind of app you want - it maybe there already! Facebook do take you through how to set one up but still hard to understand///
- Get a webhost with PHP/MySQL and a domain name - In FB, go to Applications -> Developer - Create your application, choose a canevas page URL and callback URL(URL to your domain) - Download the Facebook library and upload it to your webhost. - Get the example code and start building -You can get more infos in Developper Wiki and developer community
it was not really suggesting you to build an app but if you want to start there, it is important that you understand how fb works, how apps work etc - if not, you cannot make the required list of featuers you want. suggestion: start using more apps in general and test them out. note what you like and what not. then you also get a better idea of what is possible or not.
