Well first of all...your welcome message is the default message which you had probably purchased with the templates...fix it... Make your word more dynamic. To get more traffic...you need backlinks...a lot of them...promotion would be the key to get your word out for short term marketing.

You haven't changed the design of the original CMS used. You should make your own layout based on the original but don't just change the header and title.

Well firstly you should change your default welcome messages. The current message is the default one which comes with your CMS I think which has nothing to do with your site topic. You gotta edit that one. Secondly, I think the design looks a bit plain. How about adding some colour to your template. Also I agree with other members, you should look to provide additional functionality like Lucky suggested a invite friend feature can really explode your member's list. As of now thats all I could think of top of my head. Best of luck.
