The main problem is lower CTRs because the audience is internet-savvy, but the CPC can be good if tech topic is related to products and good earnings if you can get good ranking on search engines (for traffic).
Its very competitive and everybody is just regurgitating material found elsewhere on the web, just rewritten from manufacturer manuals etc (i am talking about gadgets here), there is lack of original content when it comes to technical review. Most people just seem to post reviews on amazon, but I doubt amazon pays them to create a sense of 'community cameraderie' etc and so on..
