Had a really long thread on blogcatalog about first blog posts people wrote, also saw some related themes here on dp, which turned out to be really funny cause everyone had a lol story .... anyways I started this blog where anyone can write: First Blog Post .com . Anyone can write on it, just register and follow the curriculum and tos. Also as a stimuli I allowed people to insert up to 5 links in their post so it's a nice seo link building and advertising. (this is not advertising of any kind as I made it as a one place for all posts related and don't expect any stuff from it )
I just copy paste from what i got in internet, it use to full my page first.... , and then I write an original one
please don't make useless comments ... anyways if I see the post is copied (i use copyscape) - ban . btw: dp members should really get a english spelling test
Nice idea, but my first blog back in the day doesn't hold much of a story as all it said was "this is a test post", so I probably won't be putting that on the site. I never ended up deleting that very first post, so I saved a piece of my own blogging history, which is nice.
2 words.. glass houses this is more or less what my first blog post was as well talking about why I started the blog and what I'd be talking about
come on ... I'm really sick of telling people not to post useless comments ... if you're not smart enough to difference your first post from that crap I'm really sorry for ya (put posts like you already see in the blog, talk about first blog , posts etc)
Both of those are pretty weak, but mine was just as bad, I posted an old interview that I found on Archive.org from a site that used to exist. I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning...using images without permission, bad design, copying articles...it was a train wreck.
don't think someone on dp can tell his first post/blog wasn't as bad .... read mine on firstblogpost , write about your first blog , bog post etc
it was a personal post, also mentioned some politics, and some rumuors, all about day-life in a personal point of view.
LOL! Technically, that was EVERYONE'S first post! Love your sense of humour! My first post (after "Hello, World" of course) was boring... it stated my intentions for the blog and stuff I would be covering in the future. It was REALLY short, too. If I can dress it up and make a story out of it, I'll consider posting to your blog. Then (PAY ATTENTION, EVERYONE) when your blog hits PR 6 and Google follows its links (it IS a do-follow blog, right?), we'll all have some quality backlinks! Win-win! Thanks for posting, I enjoyed thinking about this. ~cj P.S. If you're going to allow others to promote their blogs like this, you ought to get something out of it. You should ad Adsense to your pages... just a thought.
thanks for the tip ... I added adsense in the bar just so it would look nice and as a typical blog structure ... as I said I'm not using it as a revenue generator but thanks for sharing
