PR Updates Any one know the next one?

why people are so interested on PR updates ????
it comes when it needs to come !

 

above you must have a reason to say this otherwise yould leave helpful comment for the members.... pr is important to all here online and P fourms........

pr is very important when you sell links, buy links, buy/sell website. look in buy/sell forums.

Hell! I'm waiting for that since last 4 months. It may happen in this month.

 

I have read some blogs that next update will held on last week of september. So be ready and increase your back links ASAP.

 

No one can really tell. I have noticed that PR update is quite erratic these days. Last month, for example, Google has updated pagerank a number of times.

 

yaa i think it's on September last week because major PR update come on every 3 month last PR update on June so we predict this!!!

I rank #1 on Google for the search term kauai massages... yet my pr is only 1 my competition has pr 4 or more they rank under me ..... this strange ...

 

PR nothing to do with ranking on search results. you could be first but you could have smaller pr than competitor.

ranking is very dependent on content quality but pr on banklinks.

imagine you don't have high-pr links but you have more relevant content to the search query. you will rank higher than competitor having high-pr backlinks and as result higher pr. not always coulse it's not the only thing it depends on but such cases are seen every day.

first one has only PR2 homepage but second haS PR6 internal page and PR8 homepage.
moreover it has .gov.uk which usually gives priority
so?

i guess conclusion is very simple - higher PR does NOT obligatory provide priority in ranking.

i think much more important to have good, well written relevant content

 

Exactamundo! Everyone is always PR this and PR that, don't sweat about PR, sweat about your SERPS and where your site appears on the search results! Common folks, who cares if you have a PR8 website if it gets out ranked by pr1-2-3 sites?!?

 

but it's also not true that pr does not mean anything. we can at least know that some seo was done and domain has backlinks. but it is also true that for instance for pr4 domain it's enough to have 1! pr6 backlink so you should always check.

pr is used for link sales and domain sales.

but as for me i'd better have pr0 website but better ranked

 

Yeah, for me the ranking is the number one thing but when it comes to deals in the B/S/T everyone and their mother wants high pr links so I guess PR is more important to those folks. I'd also rather have 1000 pr1-2 relevant links than 10 pr4-5 irrelevant links.
