Hello, - Considering that PLR contents (specially those being sold in big packs) are available on too many websites, does putting that kind of content on your website help to increase the traffic considerably? - How different might a new content (unique in text but same topic as most other websites) help in comparison to those widely available PLR content? - How risky is it to use these big content packs. Because I am not sure whether they are copyrighted text or not. I worry that it makes problems for me later. - Let's say I have a matchmeker website. The website does not contain too much content because it mostly includes user profiles. Will adding articles related to matchmaking help to grab more users? Thanks in advance for your advise and help. Mac
PLR products are good as bonuses as they don't cost you anything to produce and they help make your offer better. Most PLR products tell you what you are allowed to do with them, with regard to editing, giving away, packaging, using for member sites etc. So just read and stick to the rules and you will be OK. Giving something away for nothing will alway help to grab people for your database.
No. Not even close. What brings people in is advertising, article marketing, word of mouth.... How can content bring in people if they do not even know you exist? Get me? However, the artcles, if good, can be used for repeat traffic. Don't quite understand the question. There will be no problems. If, IF the original "author" contacts you, just simply explain the situation, and that you will stop using them. Read my answer to your first question. However, it may grab more subscribers.
I have used PLR effectively on my finance blog. What I do is get the topic on the PLR article, and then using my keyword analysis tool to find a similar keyword that is searched in google with little competition, I then edit the article to focus on that keyword.
Well, as far as I have experimented PLR content doesn't helps much ! Thats why I never use them as most of the PLR sellers sell it to several people. - Digital -
Assuming you are using article content, there are many products out there that will help you spin an article to make the content different. Simple differences as mentioned previously with keywords can make a big difference. If you are just giving away content to try and draw traffic, I agree that somebody has to know you are giving it away before they show up to get it. But if you are just trying to get your website noticed there are many ways to do that. So what it comes down to is what exactly your intent is with the material. Hope this helps.....
Philip, I was assuming that after putting the content, search engines crawl your website (and you have possibly done link submission etc). In my matchmaker site's case because there is not much content in the site , even if you spread links etc. search engines will not see much on the website. Thank you everyone for your comments and advise.
It does crawl the content, but that means nothing. Here's the thing...not only are the odds of you landing high enough to be even seen is so great it would floor you, that even if you are lucky enough to land high, the traffic is not all that great to begin with. Try it. You won't lose anything but a little bit of time, anyway.
PLR content has multiple uses, aside from using it as base content for your site. You can also use it to create PDF reports/books/courses which can be sold or given away to build your list. It can be used as the basis for newsletters, or even video creation. And, they can be re-written to appear as if it is new content (if duplicate content petrifies you). The PLR industry is actually booming - because of the reasons mentioned above. I'm a big fan personally...
I don't think I understand this statement. Tee thing with PLR is that everbody has it... google won't rank duplicate content. So, make it original. Make sure your doing your keyword research and competitive research first... no sense in trying to compete for a keyword like "buy viagara" until you know what your doing..
