GOOGLE WAVE - Newest social networking tool

So this new google wave thing is coming out soon and I can't wait for it.

It should be better than myspace, facebook, twitter, etc.. I just love the way where you can type something and instead of showing "someone is typing ..." it actually shows the words that they are typing!

So combine Wave & caffeine coming out soon and I wonder what is going to change for us all. For me, Chrome was a flop. Let's hope they learned some stuff since then. We never know, maybe it will make things easier for us all. You never can tell.

Chrome wasn't a flop. I actually love Chrome because of its speed =]

 

Ok, to each his own. No problem here. The thing I didn't like was that u needed Google Gears installed. It really ate up processor speed and bandwidth for me. If it didn't give you a hiccup, then I am happy for you.

google wave isn't a social network like "myspace, facebook, twitter" at all, it's more of a instant messaging service and email client in one.

 

Isn't gmail enough for that already?

 

No, actually it's more improved. This new tool is like an ALL IN ONE! Did you watch the video? It's crazy mate.

I did not watch the video, but can we add HTML codes to our profiles like Myspace's 1.0 profiles?

Google wave is nothing to do with social networking nor is it a combined email/ IM service. It is a collaborative tool.

but i don't think it is social bookmarking site, it is talking site.

 

Its a new concept of sharing. It will definitely change the SEO strategy.

 

Just one more social site to deal with, argh.

 

As for as my personal opinion Google wave will help for many corporate IT industries where the whole team members can chat with one another by updating each and every flow of work. Currently I am working on Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai. our project account has more than 200+ people from project manager to low level programmer.

When ever a bug or problem arises we used to send an email to developer and CC copy to team leader. Some day I used to get some 120 to 200 mails from whole team. This Google wave will help us in fast communication.

Thanks for Google and we are just awaiting its release

 

Didn't saw that video but I heard about Google Wave almost a month back and I think it's gonna be rocking!

 

Anyone hear when this thing will come out?

I'm getting some ideas on how to use blackhat techniques to make money with it and I just can't wait =D

 

Google learned lot from flops and falls.
But why microsoft not do this?

 

well, i also heard lot of google wave.. and waiting for its release, but what will happen to Orkut after all this is also owned by google. Or there will be any difference between two..

to figure out we still need alot of wait..
