nope, the top guys have been surmising that it's being devalued for some time now, and in Caffeine it looks even more so to us. anchor text has become far too manipulated, its obvious the SEs are going to be devaluing in the light of this. plus try this one: google search for click here google search for click here (caffeine) mixing it up (varied anchors) is the way forwards, plus lots (as many as you can get) of trust links from good domains using your URL.
I think your onto something there... And what about the NoFollow attribute, does that still have the same effect? I mean, is it worth getting links from NoFollow websites as this will look like natural link building.
maybe, who knows what they may do in the future. currently they tell us (and the last tests we ran said the same) that they (NF) dont pass any value. certainly looks more natural, and NF links can give lots of traffic if theyre attached to high quality comments on big blogs
@ beginning of June this was big news, they still recognise it but you can't sculpt your PR by using nofollow anymore
ah yes, I was thinking Google was dismissing the NF tag altogether which would change the game quite alot!
Google bombing no longer works and this is actually an old story and today Google can easily tell whether or not some links have been added naturally.
