I understand that advertiser store persistent cookies when the click is made and even when the customer comes and buy it at a later time before the expiration period , still iam eligible for the referral.

Since we are constantly changing our marketing campaign , we would like to know the date when the original click was made and the cookie is stored, even though the sale is made at a later date, so the we can effectively tune our campaign bsaed on the Ad that we had. Is there any way to get that information, which would be of a great help ?

I think it is impossible to find out that info. You say you are constantly changing your marketing campaign - how could you then measure the results anyway? To have statistically meaningful sample you must measure marketing effect during longer time period.

I am changing my campaign every 5 days as i am trying to find a most effective campaign. my advertiser accepts cookies upto 60 days. i am doing SEM campaigning , it's money ... if you campaign is not working it's better to change instead of waitiing to collect the sample ... it doesn't make ecnomical sense. if CJ can give that data it wouldbe helpful to quickly sample the data and do a effective campaigning without wasting more dollars. I am sure this data should be somewere either with the advertiser or CJ that they have collected from the cookie ? the question is why they don't want to disclose or they didn't thought about it which would benefit lot more affiliates ?

You can do this by adding the date to your tracking IDs.

Yes dreamerr is right. You can change your sid every day and you'll have the desired info. Just add ?sid=strategy1 on your affiliate link, and change sid every time you change your strategy.
