I never used it for deep links. Are the links really that important? Personally I'd just edge towards creating satellite sites with a relevant domain name.
I have set up suidoo lenses for two of my sites, google has crawled the sites and is not showing any backlinks from suidoo. Anyone got any ideas why. the lenses contain links to my site but have not been read by anyone yet.
Google I believe is cracking down on Squidoo (as are squidoo themselves) as it is now renowned, and only talked about online in terms of spamming it full of crap content to use for linkbuilding.
Squidoo is very beneficial for increasing link popularity and deep link management. As you create squidoo lenses, you can create pages on hubpages.com. very beneficial. 10+
I however dont think Squidoo is any more powerful than any of the other web2.0 sites. Its all about creating something useful there that can get natural links and you will have good backlinks that will last.
well due to spams and abuse, squidoo did go down for a while. But after updating their policy, they are back. Recently i signed up with market leverage and peperjam ads and guess what. One of them had a squidoo option for promoting the ads . They ask you what ways you intend to use and squidoo was one of the option ehh! i was like what the..... but yea, use it well and it will come to your advantage!
Yes, Squidoo is very good for building quality backlinks. Your article or such called lens goes indexed very quickly and no approval needed. Only make sure you keep atleast 3 blocks in your lens. Good luck!
while squidoo is not as powerful as it was a year or two ago, it still worth the effort, links from squidoo are helpful both for SEO and traffic.
I only have one lense and havn't used much time on squidoo at all, but that lense is generating app 100 visitors a day to my site.
squidoo lenses is always ranked at the top of google in hsort time and with no effort i have created this lens xbox router 2 weeks ago and submit to few directory and now ranked 3 for "gaming xbox router". what i hate in squidoo is that he do no count many pub clicks . i tried with a friend to click some ads to see if they are counted or not but always 0.00$
Bcoz of wide features of Squidoo, you can easily get PR for your Squidoo pages. U can use them for link exchange. By comment posting in other Squidoo pages, you can get good PR. But, now a days many of the people are not accepting sqidoo for link ex.
