Need Advice Promoting my website

Hi,

Some days ago I launched a but I have no idea how to promote it because it´s a different site and i don't know where it fits(niche). Its been hard to promote it in forums because I don't find any forums related to it which is normal because its just a site where you can advertise.

I saw some promoting techniques as directory submission, article submission, social bookmarking, but do you do it manually or you submit your site trough free submitting scripts that we find everywhere.

Always get links from related sites. Plus you should build your relationship with visitors so they come back.

 

First u have to do good seo for u r site and then u give links to a high ranking site
daly updat ur site and keep hard working

 

You do it every possible way you get! As and when I get a good directory, I do it manually, while I have also tried script submission to multiple search engines and web directories. Of 1000 links submitted, even if you get good % approved, your effort would pay off

Well, thats one problem because i cannot build relationship with visitors. If they like the idea the buy if they don´t they will never visit my site again. So my goal is to show the website to biggest amount of people i can.

 

At one of the mastermind groups I belong to laughs at the my "business is different" story. What i think you need to do is find something your interested in. eg dogs, do keyword research, find a niche that converts into sales, then and only then make your site around that niche. you can easily test any offer using google and its tools

I wouldn't do anything myself manually. Try leveraging other peoples' times, and focusing more on the marketing methods to rank high and make sales.

 

Definitely articles is a good way to promote your site. I have submitted manually to different directories and have never found automatic submission very effective.

 

sorry but article marketing depends on your niche. Never hope investment niche to get the same attention as weight loss niche in ezinearticles and such websites, you get what I mean? better to do SEO and PPC.

1. Directory Submission – it is useful if the directory has quality links and doesn't contain bad links. Check out my list of directories.

2. Forums Posting – links from other quality forums are ok but it's better if you will get links from related forums.

3. Blog Commenting – when I do blog commenting I make sure that the blog is related to my site.

4. Submission to Bookmarking Site – make sure that you don't spam the bookmarking site with lots of submission links from your site. Remember you need permanent link if you spam them, your link/account will get deleted. Check out my list of bookmarking site.

5. Yahoo Answer Posting – useful for frequently crawling of search engine.

6. Submission to Niche Directory – it's good to get links from niche directory. It adds value to your link relevancy.

7. Article Submission – it doesn't give high traffic but the keywords that is use as anchor text in article content helps to improved SERP.

8. Press Release Submission – like article the keywords in anchor text helps in SERP and also helps for promotional campaign.

9. Blog Post – if you have blog for the site that you were optimizing and has related blog post with keywords on content linking to your site, the keywords that you use as anchor text will help your site improved rankings. It also give traffic to your site.


When doing link building It doesn't matter to me whether the site is no-follow or do-follow as long as it's related to my site. I also don’t look for the PR of the site because if you want your site to have natural links you should not just build links to get links from do-follow with high PR site.
