Yes, but was boring for me.
The most interesting things for me were ABC defence training and communication.

I hate guns and it always made me feel bad when I had to carry one.

Never, and will never unless it's a matter of die or live of the whole population.

Just got out last august after 9 years in the Army. Had bad times, had good times, and had times I will never forget. Overall, I'm glad I served. It really put a perspective on life. I'm grateful for what I have. In times when I'm not, I just remember how it could be and I'm happy for what I have.

It's not for everyone, but that is ok. Just remember that when the government does something stupid, lash out at them, not the poor bastards that have to go do what has to be done.

And remember to thank a veteran every chance you get, young and old. They make sacrifices that the average person couldn't even think of.

Be mad at the government if you must, but be thoughtful of the men and women, who actually have to carry out the plan. It's their job. Most are proud to do it.

My brother joined the Airforce after the war in Iraq had begun. He wanted to "do something for his country", he said. I cried tears of fear and pride the day he left for Iraq - and tears of joy and pride when he came back safe and sound.

I never miss the opportunity to say thank you when I meet a verteran - and offer a handshake or hug. There's no bigger sacrifice. Kudos to you!
