how should we use Twister for increasing traffic ?

 

Twitter is a mirco blogging platform, but also a social networking site, alot of people are using Twitter the wrong way or misunderstanding what Twitter can do..twitter is use as a marketing tool, normally you have followers that are within the same niche as you, what it is you market your services or business by tweeting your blog posts, website links from your site or another site, by doing this you are sending lots of traffic to that site.

You are also building relationships with people on twitter by sharing information that they will be interested in, like resources, events, free offers etc...

 

Just go to twitter , make an account and start tweeting, you will understand what's twitter ..

From an internet marketer point of view, twitter is a nice tool to drive traffic to your site ..

I have about 12k followers, and I get at least 40 uv a day from one tweet ..

 

I dont think is a matter of Twitter being better than Facebook, I just think that they are both different and have different goals, facebook is more for social networking not so much for advertising yourself or your product, like Twitter

 

really face book needs to buy tweeter and incorporate their status messages into their technology.

but really tweeter is no different then our YIM status messages of the early 2000

If you write interesting stuff and have something useful to offer, people will start following you!

 

I looked at your profile and I think the problem is that you need to tweet more interesting and engaging topics. All of yours so far are links (and when you do links you need to use catchier headlines.) Also, start following others in your niche and interacting with them (ie: retweeting, replying to their tweets).

Also, add an About Me and a photo of some sort to make you seem more personable.

It's called Twitter, and it's a micro-blogging website where you're limited to under 140 characters or less in which you can @reply someone to have direct contact, or use the old direct messages. I highly prefer the @reply due to both users generating attention from two different users. It's a great website for personal, and marketing use. You won't generate quality leads if you're only talking about your niche. You need to actually use Twitter to get followers/leads/money.

Twiiter is a micro blogging on which you can send message to users. We can use twiiter as to promote our site , links , send a message . Facebook is a social networking site and twitter is a micro blogging but both is effective tool on which we can send message to others

Facebook is a more privacy centered social network portal which caters many fun applications and also many different platforms like wall to wall posting, events, notes, fan pages etc , facebook has now inculcated a search engine of its own. In order to post your links, you should have atleast 20 posts and should be atleast 7 days old member here. Thats the reason why you cannot post any link.
