How To Know Who Can Trust In Internet Marketing

I want to make one comment about the IM niche and who you should trust and stay away from from the perspective of being a consumer of products or someone doing a business relationship with any of the big name marketers.

Here is the deal. These people are great at selling. Some of them do huge launches and many launches a year to generate millions upon millions in sales. They have studied human psychology and selling and have it down to an art form.

When they do million dollar launches using these techniques it gives them a sense of power. It can make one feel they are bigger than life and certainly have a huge power of persuasion over their audience.

Such a thing is going to change a person. It can give a person a sense of humility. It can give a person a sense of honor or joy. But for these good feelings to happen the person has to believe in their product. They have to believe that they are really providing people value and helping them.

If they are not doing these things with the things they sell then they are more likely to look at the people buying them with contempt – to think they are stupid or that they are smarter than they are because they tricked them into buying their product.

People tend to justify the things they do to themselves so instead of recognizing the reality that they ran a scam they hold contempt for the people who bought – thinking it is their fault for being so stupid. They are idiots for just buying stuff and never opening them up or using them they think. 90% of the IM buyers won’t even consumer what they bought – so I can just play my tricks and revel in my power and look down on the little people they may tell themselves.

The thing is any business person who thinks about their customers like that is more of a narcissistic con man than an ethical businessman. They also are likely to begin to hold the whole world in contempt, because they provide no value to the rest of the world, but suck on it like a parasite. As these feelings breed they also will come to see business partners and associates as people to just use too. They’ll even “launch” new products to not give a damn about the people they use to front them – not caring if they crash and burn. All they care about is making money and will do anything for a buck.

So, you can easily tell who in the Internet marketer space you can trust as a buyer or partner and who you can’t. All you need to do is look at the quality of the products they put out. That will tell you all you need to know.

I know what you mean. I have bought so many courses that have been total junk. But they keep pumping out the new products.

There are some good courses, not all are bad and I don't want to put any down specifically - but with new courses just go back and do a search on the history of the previous products they are putting out and you'll find out what you need to know.

Always do research on any course you're considering buying. There's a lot of crap out there from people who are just out make money while providing sub-satndard info.

You're correct. And a lot of people teaching how to make money never made much until they put out their book teaching people how to make money.

A great way to be sure before you buy a product is to ask a question about it on a forum such as this.

There is so much knowledge and experience floating about on forums that there will always be guys here who can either advise you on what you should do or share their own experiences about the product of marketer.

make sure you do your research before buying a product, and try to read reviews, If its junk Im sure there will be alot of complaints on it because of people who bought it. Just do a google search on the product to see if its good or not.

I so agree. You do have to be very carefull that you don't get caught up in the hype. My only advise to you is do your research before committing to anything. Make sure they made their money doing what they are teaching you and not from teaching you.

Do a research before buying the product

Ask your fiends who may be more experienced in that field

Or maybe some of your acquaintances have bought this product already.

Don't get upset too fast, there are some really good products offered online

    ;)

    cheers

Do your research first before starting anything, ask the people you know who might have tried it, and read reviews for you to have an idea on what you are geting yourself into.

Before doing all these classes you need to do research. A lot of the time they are trying to upsell you something. I suggest reading "How New Affiliates Waste Money"

    1. You should first look to see how long the business' domain name has been registered for. My primary domain has been registered to me since 1996, which is solid proof that I've been here for a long time. I'm not a kid selling PDFs about search engines.

    2. Next, look to see how many pages their website is. If it's a simple 10-page website bursting with promises where the navigation is a simple and unimaginative "Product", "Services", "About Us", "Contact", etc., then bail But if it's 50+ pages of very opinionated material, then you've got someone with a passion for the business (my main website is 350 pages).

    3. Is the person willing to talk to you over the telephone, or do they want complete internet anonymity? This is the best way to differentiate the seasoned, confident professional from the inexperienced, insecure amateur.

    4. Remember this rule: you can't tell how professional or honest someone is by how flashy their home page is. I've seen con artist's websites that look better than IBM's home page.

Be aware, that anyone that meets this criteria is also going to be more expensive than most. If you want expert experience, you are going to have to pay for it.

The thing I never understood, is if these people are so sure what they're going to teach you is worth it, how come none of them are willing to teach you under the promise that you will pay them after their advice starts making you money ?

Because a salesperson is only responsible for their product. They can't be held responsible for a customer's lack of skill or unwillingness to follow instructions.

    Hello Mike,

Searching the threads here at DP will give you many answers and this should always be your first choice.

When purchasing a product, I always try to use Click Bank as they are reputable and will usually allow a 60-day grace period for your review and try the product.

They will cut off folks that only buy and then request a refund, but if you are fair about it, the are honorable to do business with.

    Hope that this helps you

    All the Best

The problem with most "make money" and marketing courses is that anyone with word for windows, a PDF converter and some PLR content is suddenly an expert. Info product creation (including videos) has become so easy that everyone is at it.

There's some good stuff out there, and some bad stuff. The best thing for all of us is to learn through our own experiences...
