Alright, I want to start off saying that in a hour I will be leaving for about 3 or 4 days. Saying that I wont be able to check this thread or update my blogged website. It will probably take me around a hour to complete this thread My overall goal is to have an income stream via online that I can substaintly live off of. Yeah I know, it takes a lot of effort and most people quit after not seeing results after the first 6 months, ect.. I can honestly say I'm not one of those type of people. I've been analyzing, and persuing ways to make money online for about 3 years give or take a few months. I've been scammed time after time again, trying to find the get rich quick scheme, and well as everyone knows there isn't one. While trying to find a way to get "rich" quick, I have been keeping ways to make money legitly in the back of my head, just for referance. I'm relatively new to blogging. I using the blog platform blogger, I just bought a domain for it today, seeing as I wanted to reserve the domain. I am using the google apps since I bought my domain through google/blogger. The reason I chosed to go with a blog is because I will be updating it more then likely everyday, well the days when I can have access to the internet. Not really knowing where to start with this I'll put a list of what I already have that is nice for me and my niche, and a list of what I dont have, and would want help on getting. The niche I'm in with this website, is reviewing websites, programs, ect..(keep this in mind while reading) If its possible, (more then likely not) can you switch your domain name and blogger platform blog to wordpress, and if it is possible, should I do that or not? * Indicates that I have, or completed the said goal - Indicates that I need help, and or advice * An easily rememberable domain name * Have hidden the navbar through the blogger blog * Made a static home page for the blog * Have hidden the home page in the blog archive * Put up Adsense where it would best fit * Have hidden labels throughout my blog * Have Analitics (Miss-spelled) on my blog * Have an email address coresponding with my website/blog - Need a monthly newsletter app - Need to remove the blogger fav icon (the orange B in the address bar) - Need to figure out why some banners wont work with a url, like the url works but the image doesn't, I have a post that fully works (weird) (its a standard banner btw) - Need google to index my blog (its verified) - Ugh there is more but can't think (opinions would greatly help) I know some what of article submitting; opinions on what to do and what to avoid would also help and would be appreated - Should I use enzine - or ehow Of course, there would be some exceptions since ehow is well a how is a how to platform. I don't know if you get paid via using enzine, but as most know you get paid via ehow. I know search engine results do mainly respond to quality content, but what does google, or all search engines pick up more on enzine or ehow? Moving on, I will not be ready for traffic for a month or so (lol have you EVER heard that one before?) because I want a some what stable blog before going public about it. You guys know what I mean. I am ruffely doing about 4 - 5 post a day, in which I'm not applying new features, customizing my blog. Although I would like to pre-set ways to generate quality traffic (im on a budget, might as well say I don't have money for advertising) Ways I know of (advice and new ideas would help) - Traffic Exchange websites - Article submitting (back links) - Twitter (I have hummingbird, plus 10 accounts currently ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 followers on each account) - Back links in general - ugh... I know of more, but can't think and don't have time to think - I am gonna fly out letters, have "business" cards, ect.. - Youtube Keep in mind, I do realize that I would need more then just one website, blog to generate an income worth living off of via the internet. I'm just going to focus on this main one until I'm satisfied, and then work on another "main" website while updating this website less frequently (0 - 2 post a day) Uhmm... How do you make money via twitter? Known ways = * Having ads posted up, adcause, revtwt, ect..(I would like a list ) Again, I know twitter is a great way to drive targeted traffic to my websites. How to make money via Youtube? -During all of this I plan on making tons, and tons of youtube videos, as I do have a lot of knowledge, in varies category's What does it take to be a "partner" with youtube? I don't have a job, and I'm pretty much home all of the time, so I can persue making money online, with almost no interuptions. Pretty much a mentor would help a lot, I think you guys see that I'm more then motavated enough, to actually put a effort into your guy's opinions. Well, I'm running out time with this post, as I need to leave for my trip so please post your advice/ideas/anything. Oh and thanks for reading Sorry for all of the misspelled words, its 4:30 in the morning and I'm about to take a 10 hour driving trip
motivated! i never seen so many words My advice would be to target a niche market and keep building on niche areas... running lots of blogs with niche content can always help. I seen a site for sale recently only few $ but ranked pr4 for ugg boot sale #1 on google for few keywords... only 2 unique articles on there and a whole load of ads selling the product. anyway, what im trying to say is maybe simple niche sites could be a way to go (but many of them) until you get to your desired level of income.
hire a article writer, blog write, from ifreelancer or from here inject lot of content unique your blog will be more and more visited, monitize this and voila
There are many ways to go about making money online. If you are new to it, start slow and then later on look for automation. The system I am using is mentioned below and works just fine. I always wanted to live the "American Dream" but no matter what job I had, I could never get anywhere close to making enough money to live the life I have always wanted. Until I found Money Maker Champâ„¢.
Thanks for your guy's opinions. Everyone else pretty much said the same thing I said in my first post, oh I forgot to quote the guy that was talking about making multiple blogs... Anyone have anything to add on? Maybe some of you people know how to do, what I would like to do?
yea find good niches use google trend to find what happening then make a blog i prefer blogger because its own by google so u more likely to rank higher and then add adsenses or what ever u pefer to monitize with
You may want to look at another way of monetizing your blog besides just Adsense (which was the only one I saw on your list, unless I missed something). If your blog is about product reviews anyway, you could sign up for affiliate programs with Commission Junction or Clickbank or one of the other networks, depending on the type of products you're reviewing, and then do reviews or fact sheets of the products and include an affiliate link so that you make money if someone purchases after they read your review. The problem with Adsense is that you generally need a lot of consistent traffic in order to see substantial profits, since the amount of money you make per ad clicked on is usually quite low. If your blog is already getting thousands of visitors a day, Adsense could be great, but if you're not at that point yet, affiliate marketing can get you a lot more bang for your buck. Good luck!
Yeah, Thank You... I do appreciate EVERYONE'S comments, but it seems like only a select few are actually helpful and not going back into what I am already saying in the first post, well of what I am doing... Sorry I don't know if I mentioned it or not, I am an affiliate with clickbank and commission junction, plus many others. Pretty much it's reviewing clickbank products, websites that claim you make money, click2sell products, ect.. So I am monetizing my blog with more then just adsense
Thanks' I didn't know there was a google trend(er).. I also believe that since blogger is owned by google that it would have a higher ranking... Also people I am thinking about making ebooks and promoting them through clickbank
