Paypal doubt! pls anyone help

    Hi DP members,

    I'm from India. I have registered my name in Paypal as "Mohamed Riyaz" and now i wish to withdraw money to my Indian Bank account(Axis Bank). But the problem is, in my Bank account my name is registered as "Mohamed Riyaz S A I" (S A I is my Intial), i asked my bank to change the account name, but they told that they cannot change account name but instead of that they ask me to close the existing account and open a new account as "Mohamed Riyaz". In my driving license also my name is registered as ""Mohamed Riyaz S A I"". So, i'm just confused that wether to open a new account or not... Is there any possible way to recover from these situation. If so, what are the documents i have to provide to paypal to change my name.

    Well you need to have your name exactly on PayPal as you have on bank account, try to contact PayPal support may be they will be able to help you out, because its only initial and not full name that is different. I think best way is to contact PayPal support.

    As far as I know,It doesnt matter,you can withdraw money to your Indian Bank.

    Hey you have to contact paypal and tell them about your problem. They will then ask some of your documents to verify your identity

    Contact paypal...
    To change name , they ll ask you to submit some papers with your name written on it

    In order to withdraw to your bank account. Only first and last name should match. Your first name match so there shouldn't be any problem.

    This is not a problem. You can phone direct to PayPal Call Center. They will give solution. They are friendly

    just fill in bank details with a code which u will find in ur check book and name as per your bank registration . this will do.
    do recheck while adding ur bank account number and the code

    Your name and surname correct. Try withdraw small summ to your bank account from paypal. I think you will never face any prob.
