Accidentally Clicked Your Own Ads ?

    I saw a lot of post recently where people clicked there own ads and were panicking and such. If you clicked your own ads by mistake, you have nothing to worry about ... just don't do it again.


    I suggest clicking the link below which will actually take you to the Google support website and section that talks about this. It helped me sleep better the first time months back when I accidentally clicked my own ad.

    Great advice. But why someone will click an ad accidentally? Did they forget that they are on their own site. It is better not to visit your own site every 5 minute

    I clicked mine editing my website. Thought I was in edit mode on the website tool I was using so I clicked the ad to move it and It so happened I wasn't in edit mode.

    It can happen for a number of reasons with the most common one being that they are updating a website or something similar.

    It happens.

    I think 1 or 2 accidentally click is no problem, and almost webmaster even have same experience. It will be a problem when 'accidentally click' by hundreds or thousands click a day ;)

    I did it sometimes...
    if i saw an interesting ad i forgot to copy/paste the URL. i think the same... it happens.

    yeah it does help to sleep better but I have clicked my ads a lot by accident nothing happend

    yah dont worry if u only click it a few times. if you spam click your ads, google might get you.

    Yea I posted this because a few months back when I had my accidental click I panicked and didn't know if I should contact Google and all of that bs. It felt good to hear straight from Google that I shouldn't worry so I figured I would pass the link along.
