I do very well with adsense as part of my overall revenue. It's over 2,000.00 Us monthly and I believe I found a way to increase that. I am finding that those that click on adsense ads do it very early in the viewing of my sites. Up until last week, you didn't see any adsense ad on my sites until you scrolled down a bit. I moved my ads up on all my pages so they are visible immediately and my revenue is significantly better. When I say significantly better, I mean SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER! My experiment is too short lived to say this is the way to go but my revenue has exploded. My viewer count is about the same (5K UV on average daily) and the other content on my sites has not changed significantly. Am I to think that those that click adsense ads are not even bothering with the majority of my content? They see something that looks like what they are looking for and WHAM!, they click it? I'd appreciate the feedback of those that have experience in the adsense marketing world. Thanks,
placement is a huge factor in whether or not visitors clink on your ads. as long as you arent tricking them into clicking you should be good.
This is true, many visitor never roll down. One of the method to optimize the ads placement is "always keep one adsense ads at the initial page displayed", ensure your visitor can see the adsense ads once they enter to the site.
ya. as soon as someone goes to your website, make sure its like the first thing they see. they might get curious
For certain post of your I can't see any ads. The ad block is empty. Only I see Ads for Alternative Treatment of Diabetes Coming to your question. Your ad placement are so catchy that they easily cross over your blog content and inspite of people reading the content first (which they actually came for) they see ad and they click implying to get good revenue of your blog
You could have discovered this a lot earlier if you did ask for an ad placement review of your site at: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72 But it's never too late to do good Is it mainly with http://www.diabetestreatmentguide.com or do you have another website which is your main earner?
what i've found is visitors never really scroll down a page so it's best to have the adsense and affiliate links in their face before having a need to scroll. i also noticed that mixing adsense in with my content (blending it in) also helped me
