Expert Advice Needed - SEO

I have a wordpress site(new and PR0) independently hosted on my own domain. (Address in signature)

While doing some analysis, i've found out the following :
I have a total of 188 links on my mainpage out of which 12 are external(Mostly from Advertsments - adbrite, bidvertiser, etc.) while the rest are internal.

As far as i know for a new site, googlebot may index a max of 100 links, having too many links(outbound and inbound) screws up your pagerank.
My questions are : (Remember i'm using wordpress)

    2) I have a nofollow check plugin, which shows each and every link on my site as dofollow. As default, all links from the frontpage in wordpress are dofollow?? or is my Plugin making a mistake here?

IF ALL links are 'not nofollow', please answer the following questions.

    1) Do Tags, the 'Share This' button at the end of each post, links to categories, login/register links eat up my page link juice?

    2) I have Wp_Cumulus, i.e. a flash based spherical tag cloud. Can the links on it be interpreted by googlebot??

    3) If you have a plugin to check about links being nofollow, can u take a look at my frontpage and let me know if it detects any links as nofollow??

I'm seriously in a mess. Thanks for any advice and help.

    No Replies?
Anyways, i found the answer to my own question. Took me 4 hrs, but now most of the links on my site are nofollow. Had to make changes directly from the wordpress core files.
Anyone having any queries relating to this could ask it here.

Sorry you had to figure that out on your own. My advice though, make sure you have a dofollow link to your sitemap from your index page, that way you make sure the spiders credit all your internal pages

Yes, your plugin is making a mistake. The nofollow tag has been added to several links including your Share This button/s. To double check what has the nofollow relation, check your source code. (If using Firefox, right click the link -> select properties -> see if there is a relation element set with 'nofollow'

If those links are dofollow, then it will parse PR. However, nofollow isn't such a big deal as late, due to the overuse of the tag. Though, in spite of this, you can always add the relation nofollow to be safe. I wouldn't worry too much though as a website should appear natural.

Google has been crawling some flash lately, due to their big spiel about wanting to improve their crawling ability however I don't believe they can crawl flash on its own. They read the .xml file, so if you have an .xml file for your tag cloud and it's readable in plain text, then Google MAY crawl it. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you have to worry.

There are nofollow links across various links. As stated above.

Don't get wrapped up too much in PR, it's not a big issue in comparison to 2 years ago. Focus on good quality unique content, solid natural links and a clean website. You should be good.

    Hope that helps your dilemma.

I don't have a link to the .xml sitemap on my frontpage[have it(not-nofollowed) on another page though] but my sitemap script pings google on daily-weekly intervals to invite it to crawl, so hopefully Google not indexing some of my pages should not be a problem.

Thanks a million for your time to reply.

Well, you probably checked my site after i made all the changes. My plugin was right, each and every link was do-follow, i somehow changed them all(most of them) to nofollow my self as said in my first reply in this thread :

Well, i checked the source codes(browser view) and the flash cloud displayed all tags(around 60 of them), so i currently disabled the flash cloud and as an alternative added the wordpress default tag cloud(made its links nofollow too).

You checked it after i made the changes. :)

Thanks a lot again. Well i've been doing quite some extensive research and based on past experience too i believe many links i had like 'login', 'tags', 'share this', 'privacy-policy', 'links to categories', 'links to respond to posts', etc.etc. just don't deserve the link juice.
Considering the Page rank algorithm, i'd rather let some important internal links(pages and stuff) have that link juice once the site has been established.
