why this site is not compatible with IE?

It works well with other browsers though.
I was not the developer but I need to know why.. Is it because of Javacript or CSS?

That's because IE has versions 6, 7 and (now?) 8 floating around, NONE of them is like the other, and none of them fully follow web standards.

The question is, which version of IE have you tested your site with? I'll let you know now, EVERY major player in the web game has pretty much stated that IE 6 will no longer be supported, so you can pretty much rule that browser out. Your focus should be on IE 7 and 8. IE 6 is so broken that it should be taken out back and shot.

I looked at your site in IE 7, and it rendered OK. What specifically are you seeing?

Joomla has advanced editors available that can handle pasting from Word but the IE issues will always be ongoing. As I am sure everyone knows by now, IE 6 is the worst for code problems. Best to upgrade that one and quickly.
