Hi Richee, This is probably not the answer you want, but here goes anyway... There is very little point in trying the latest technique to get ranked quickly in Google. Even if you manage it, you won't be on the first page for more than a day. The only worthwhile technique is to get ranked slowly. Build up your onsite SEO and build up masses of good quality backlinks to your site. If you want a quick boost of traffic, don't look to Google for that, go to some of these fads like Twitter. Think longer term for real success. Good luck, Sam
The only real new trends have to do with social networking sites and that is actually not really new anymore. Stick with the time tested methods. If you want instant traffic, setup an AdWords account.
you have to submit your web link anywhere you could... on forum signature, on do follow blogs, on bookmarking sites, on social media sites, on picts, etc
The first thing that I did, was sign-up for Google Webmasters. The next thing, I built quality backlinks.
Its 5 days and one of my site is still not indexed. I have used forum signature and social bookmarking and also blog pinging. I am hopeful that it will appear within next 48 hours.
The fastest way to get indexed in Google is to link to site's that are already indexed in Google. For example, forums like DP. David Jackson
First off go to google and type in "submit site" and submit your site to google, and the fastest way is to gain backlinks on places like forums.. these get indexed real fast and will get your site ranked in google.. then just start gaining backlinks
A good way to do it is make a yahoo answers question about something relating to your site then go back with a new account and answer the question with a link to your site. Make sure keywords relate
This is not necessary. Google's spider's will eventually find your site on their own. Submitting your site will not speed up the process. David Jackson
Facebook & twitter, If you have a good number of friends in your facebook & twitter account, just share your site & let people (& Google) know about your new site
I normally set up a Wordpress blog on every one of my sites. Normally I will write a blog post, ping it to the world and my site will get recognized by Google in a couple of hours. I know a lot of people will tell you that doesn't work, but, I have had much success with that technique.
