How to install Template in Joomla 1.5.13

    Hello guys,

    I hope someone will help me out in my problem.

    I am getting an error while installing new theme in Joomla 1.5.13

    I t gives me error :-

    "JFTP::connect: Could not connect to host "127.0.0.1" on port 22"

    Some one help me in this problem.

    Install it from your own computer, instead of trying to install it from an
    online link.

    Make sure it is compressed first, before you try.

    I am trying to install it from my own computer, But it give me error :-

    Then you will have to dig into your computer and find out why there is no connection to it.


    The IP address : 127.0.0.1 is your computer. The port (22) is used
    for a secure connection. (SSH)

    Have you entered your ftp account info in Global Configuration and tested it to make sure it is working properly?

    The easy way to do it is not to use ftp, but use the install/uninstall facility in the extensions manager, browse to the folder on your computer where you have downloaded the zip file, and then click upload and install and it will automatically install the template for you.

    you the have to go to the template manager to enable it, that also sits in the extensions manager.
