The rank of my website in google is not steady... some times top 10 some times 40-70 some times over 100 why? this last some months........
Its all depends on your competitor backlinks.. if his sites PR will improve you will go down.. so keep working on your backlinks always to be on top..
as a matter of fact there are thousands of sites which are added and deleted every single day. thousands of domain names are expired which certainly affect the rankings. if the website is not one of the top in the category, every domain name is bound to dance in a similar fashion especially if it comes somewhere in the middle or the lower end of the ranking list.
May be google is doing something to your website. You are ranked sometimes high and sometimes really low (over 100). Mine goes from the second page to the fifth page but does not go over 100. But I guess there are websites which fluctuates that much in google.
In order to get a stable position in SERPs, you will have to get some relevant/solid backlinks for your site. The more quality backlinks your site have, the more stable place will it get.
Try submitting press release for distribution, you'll get many quality links and see the effect within 1 week
before this is fine... recently google dance are horrible. its true that first page ranking site are now drop to 50th and behind. and some site coming from nowhere are ranked top 5 position. i had observe the same patent recent 2 weeks time as well.
I had google dances in my top-10-keywords, too... My site don't even have 1 year of old, but it was in some big keywords (500k searchs monthly), but sometimes it goes to page 5...6...than return to first 4 results...
Stable backlinks >>> Stable SERp One relevant backlink from an authority site is better than 100 dofollow blog comments that can be turn to nofollow at any moment >>> lose serp.
Google is flaky sometimes. I've seen sites of mine lose all of it's top rankings for certain terms just because I removed some links to sites that no longer existed. Who knows what goes on under the hood.
