Which is the MOST Free country on earth?

Please try to answer this question without any pre-conceived notions. Just curious to see what everyone thinks of their own countries and other countries Please do explain WHY you feel that way. Please be courteous.

 

You mean independent by that word "Free" ?? Or free for selling stuff?

 

I would say Netherlands. There government is kinda layed back and is friendly with most other countrys. They allow there citizens to have a lot of freedom, they keep peace well and are nice people.

 

I also think it's the Netherlands as well as Switzerland.

 

I wanna go to the Netherlands again. Its nice being able to smoke legally.

 

I will give my vote to Netherlands too, its a really nice and free country than others

Do you mean free to do what you like? Free to look after "no 1"?

Free to me is rather where everyone agrees to behave in such a way that no one is trampled upon - is free to live - even when unborn. That requires self-discipline, self-denial and a restriction - no loss of -selfishness. Now where is that?

 

I still believe that United States offers more freedom than any other country in the world. I have been to many countries and it's unfortunate that most those who talk bad about the US have never been to the US(...)

Actually, Somalia is the most lawless nation in the entire world. That is a fact not an accusation. So that would make it the most free nation in the world.

 

I didnt know that Somalia is lawless country so I guess it is the most free nation of all country . I thought it was US and Netherlands which have lenient laws but I guess it was Somalia indeed that is the most free county of all if it has no laws for people to follow

 

I see free as in Freedom, security and opportunity

so i would like to vote for Australia

Everyone has a fair chance to live the life they want IF they are prepared to work for it

Many people from poorer countries who are leaving war or poverty seem to be happy coming to OZ

Despite what world wide media might say neary all aussies are tolerant and non judging of people regardless of sex, religion, beliefs, education, ethnic background etc. everyone is free to a fair chance at a fair life!

We are like the US but without the terrorist attacks, racial and religious segregation and more open minded, laid back, have a better public health system and higher, fair paying minimum wage

 

I feel,India is the most free country as we will not have much strict rules than other countries as far as i know!
