Well I think this year we have strong Bayern Munich team in UCL as they have quality players now in midfield!

Well today also a big match for us as we will face Gunners at home and I am really excited for this match!

Yes but at home we will have too much guile for the Gunners expecting MU to edge the game by a goal margin of one

Meaning it will be close Arsenal are playing well, we are playing just ok, but we will use the home ground to our advantage

    MU 1 Arsenal 0

That will do we need the 3 points :)

Who knows we may get even better results today. I would predict 2-1 win for us and I really want to see Rooney and Owen on score sheet! Can't wait for Season's big match.:)

As I am sure you know Owen is not worth a dollar in my opinion, but as SAF has quoted

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/preview?id=270105&cc=4716

Ferguson, however, took time to pay tribute to his arch-rival Wenger as the pair have been scrapping away for 13 years, and at no point has the mutual respect been as evident as it is now.

''When Arsene came to Arsenal at first there were feisty things between the clubs and that probably transferred itself into both managers,'' Ferguson said. ''But there has always been a respect for the work that has been done by both managers and for each other, nothing has changed in that respect.

''We are winners. That is why we are at big clubs like United and Arsenal. The history of both clubs means you have to be number one. Arsene and I have been here for such a long time that it's hard to imagine you're not going to have one or two arguments in that period of time.

''New managers come in and vanish after a couple of years so there's no longevity. Now it is just the two of us, so we will probably ride out in the sunset together.''

Some have claimed that Ferguson no longer wishes to argue with Wenger because he does not feel Arsenal are a threat. Yet the United manager feels the Gunners are still capable of mounting a challenge at the top end of the table.

''It is an impressive start - six goals at Everton - but I think the thing that is maybe overlooked a little bit is that he has got quite a young team that you expect to improve,'' Ferguson added. ''I don't remember anyone scoring six at Everton before.

''Arsenal have to make up that ground from last season and maybe they lack the experience of ourselves and Liverpool and Chelsea, but nonetheless they will be there, I'm sure of that.''

Looking forward to a great match  (late kick off time)

Yes we knows it's pure gamble to have Owen in team but he deliver some goals that it wouldn't be lost for us and if continue find nets, then we might see changes in his performance! Right now I feel he is very slow on pitch.

Andrei Arshavin has scored an absolute beauty with a fierce drive from the edge of the penalty area which Foster gets his hands too but can only deflect in to the back of his net. It didn't swerve and the United keeper should perhaps have done better but it was a belting shot from the Russian maestro and Foster was beaten by it's sheer pace.

Half Time Manchester United 0 Arsenal 1

    57th minute
Almunia brings down Rooney in the box

    Penalty :)

    Rooney Scores

    Manchester United 1 Arsenal 1

    63rd minute

United turn the screw on Arsenal

It's a terrible defensive blunder from Diaby who has headed the ball past Almunia whilst under no pressure at all. What a turnaround here and Arsenal, who looked comfortable, have self-imploded in the most unlikely fashion.

    Manchester United 2 Arsenal 1

United held it tight for the last quarter of the match

    Great Win United :)

    And 3 more valuable points

SAF played a perfect 11 for this match he is as everyone knows a GENIUS

No team will beat Arsenal without a bit of steel in the side

United had that today, and that is why they come out as the winners

Some grit and determination is needed in this tough league

Over the last few weeks Spurs have shown that in spades

But United are digging deep and that is very encouraging

If we can keep this up and get a bit more fluid and flowing we will do just fine and for sure we will be
    pushing to be Champions

Yes and I think we had good start with top 4 as last season we lost 3, draw 2 and won 1 match only with them so we already get good start and I think it will be big test for United after international matches as we have away UCL match, Spurs match and Manchester city match!

Very right. Man Utd is just taking a while to find their groove but it's looking up. There's planned passes rather than haphazard game play. It's just a matter of a few games till the find the right combination's. Certainly working hard towards it.
