What do you think of the logo of this news website?

Please provide a straightforward comment about the logo of this free news website.

 

Not great, looks very dated, too big, needs to be more in the centre of the banner, would be better of designing one that would fit in with the black banner or change the whole banner to white

 

Yikes! Thats pretty rough. It agree with Photoshop Designer, it definitely looks dated. The font looks stretched and its just not designed very well. You should spend some more time designing it.

 

I think you should spend some time inspiring yourself with logos, having ideas how the logos should be created and working more on the logo.
If you are a newbie in Photoshop than its OK for now.

 

That's just disgusting, sorry, but it has nothing to do with the term "logo".

I have seen a few proper logos being done for around 100 dollars. I have someone in my PM box that does really good work I saw a few days ago.

Your typograph is meh... it should at least be reversed so its on a black background

I will send a pm if I can track the other fellow down. He won a contest of some sort in the services section so I sent him a note. Most of the logos that come out of there are a disaster as a general rule.

Oh, a 100 dollars is too expensive for a logo. There's a software that will give create a pre-designed logo.

 

Any software can't provide a customer tailor design.I think the logo is not very good, not striking.Maybe you
can find some one special to design it.Logo is so important to a website and I think you also know the importance
of it.

 

Look in appropriate section here in digitalpoint and you will see that some of these people charging $10 and above for single revision logo. Choose wisely as logo is your site identity. Overall, your logo is not something to be proud off.

 

Wordpress is not a good choice for free news websites!!!
