No, I didn't mean you personally, but that anyone could be banned from this site. Well, those internal comments are not as dastardly as you might think, and wouldn't be of much help to you, though you might find them interesting. They are just explanations to other editors about what you're doing and why. For instance, if I'm moving sites from the wrong category to the correct category (usually a lot of them), I'll say something like "sorting down". Or if a site is already listed and I get another suggestion, I'll say, "duplicate, deleting" to explain why I deleted it. Or, if I come across a site written in a foreign language, I'll say "non-English, sending to World". There's not much space to write in. It's just an editors tool. Hate to disappoint you, but there's no gossip. As far as a site being non-listable, you can find that out easily enough, it's open to the public: http://www.dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html#notinclude Also, if it doesn't have unique content, it's unlistable, and explained right here: http://blog.dmoz.org/ If you mean a personal conversation/consultation with you about your site, no, it's not going to happen, an editors function is not to help you build your site, that's your job. There's a great deal of information open to the public. If you want to find out about editors it's right here: http://www.dmoz.org/erz/
My friend: you have made 12 posts today and 11 of them are just for thanking about the information exposed in the thread. Even when it's obviously very kind of your part, if every user in this forum would post for thanking information requested by other members the whole site will go unusable. Don't stop posting, just try to add information or ask for data you may think is missing in the thread.
Yes. But be sure you find a category where your site fits and is currently being maintained. Most DMOZ categories are death and submitting a site there is useless. Well, may be that's true for all DMOZ categories. But there is a few honest editors who would list your site if it's worth listing.
Honest editors most probably getting threats by '' others '' It's fun for most of us to spend like a minute or so once every 6 -12 months '' suggesting '' sites .
