I agree for the month as a whole, but today dropped massively

Not that today was bad, just nothing like the last 3 days...

More and more of the major advertisers are opting to run their ads on only yahoo search, which eliminates their ads on the YPN network. When you check overtue bids, realize that it is much the same as google and the highest paying bids may not even be running on content sites.

Yahoo has some sectors where advertisers are so thin that a single one dropping out can drastically affect payouts. A single advertiser for a sector I have a site on dropped out last week (they are now only using yahoo search) and this dropped the payout by 2/3.

For instance, one keyword has the first 3 bidders in the $4.50 range. The #4 position is 73 cents and goes down to 20 cents. Those top 3 advertisers aren't running on the content sites, so the maximum bid is really 73 cents as far as any publisher running YPN is concerned.

Yahoo is adding publishers faster than it is gaining advertisers. Most advertisers don't have an unlimited budget, so they are either dropping bids, opting out of content, or burning through their daily budget so their ads don't run all day. This of course leads to lower payout averages - and over sixty sites, the payout average has dropped by more than 50%. I'm talking averages - some sectors haven't dropped as much, some much more than 50%.

This is the first month in a LONG time, that I have seen it, but some of my days now, Adsense is almost earning me as much as ypn. I thought July was bad because of summer vacations etc, Aug has been the worse month I have seen in a LONG time.

July was not bad for me, but not great. And August is right now normal. What i find strange is that August is not giving me to much traffic, its the same traffic i was receiving in July.

You have 60 websites? If so when do you find time to update them all?

Also is your webhosting expensive for 60 sites? thanks...
