Its the best Content Management System on the planet. But I am
biased because I use it so much. :)

If you are serious about having a website that can grow
with your needs, choose Joomla. Here is the link : JOOMLA

Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS) which is built upon an application framework (which includes a plugin architecture). That means you can extend its functionality via third-party add-ons called "extensions" without having to hack the core, and that you can create your own extensions. This allows Joomla to grow as your needs change.

An additional nice feature of Joomla is that its theme is served up primarily within a single PHP file (that of course can all other files).

The best thing to do is to set up a "test server" (using WAMP, XAMP, etc.) and play with it. No amount of description replaces an actual hands-on test drive. Otherwise, you can go to http://www.opensourcecms.com and test Joomla there.

Joomla is a web tool, that you may install on your webhost, and it lets you build web pages without any knowledge of html/php or any other language for that matter.

I used Word Press for a while, but for content management (CMS) Joomla is a much better solution.

What I like about Joomla is that the development community is very active and they respond very quickly to security threats with new updates. Joomla has been getting easier and easier to use over time, and I have trained several people with basic computer skills to do some very advanced stuff with Joomla. So almost anybody can get the hang of it.

With Joomla you can add content very easily and you can extend its functionality to do almost anything, like becoming a shopping cart, a membership site or whatever you like it to do!
