    I know I have awesome powers but they don't stretch to mind reading. If I knew what he meant, I wouldn't have asked.

    Of course you knew.
    It would be just impossible for you to forget your favorite subject from your favorite Bible;
    I mean DMOZ Book of Rules and Regulations.

    Or maybe I managed to cure you in v7n forum and you stopped using “unique” as your talking point?
    Well, then that would explain your absentmindedness.

    ;)

    But what makes you think that the average editor cares, what you, or former editors think? I mean a fact being a fact, we are never going to keep everyone happy, especially webmasters that want inclusion, but dont get included or ex-editors that chose to leave for some reason.

    Sometimes you have to ignore what people think, do the best you can and be satisfied personally. I am...I dont really care what people in a forum do, or say, because I know in my own heart that i do the best i can. The fact that some people consider it to be any different.....well it is't going to cost me any sleep :)

    Well, that's DMOZ editor definition. haha

    The fact is that the best some people can, is not enough sometimes.

    Maybe because you told what to do?
    I'm sure you can do better than write descriptions like:
    Company information and location

    And this is not about you, it's about DMOZ corporate mentality and culture.
    In real world DMOZ would be bankrupt long time ago.

    And yet, there are millions of sites listed. :D

    As I told my wife the other day, "I sure am glad I never took a business course, or I would have realized that I could never have survived the last 28 years I've been in business." ;)

    It's amazing what can happen, if you just do it, instead of thinking about doing it.
