Hello, from looking at your blog, you should have clicks, because your ad are well located. That's my opinion.

 

I see nothing wrong in your blog. Good contents, nice layout, and the ads also already well placed. Maybe lack of visitor? How much visitor you've got in a day?

ads are well placed but try to put an image banner on the header instead of the text links, coz lots of text links may annoy the user, so there should be one attractive ad. Use an image banner on the header

This is my suggestions.
1. If you can afford $8, get a domain name to brand yourself. A keyword rich domain is even better.
2. Instead of a long blog post on the Home page, split them into more and only publish the snippets on the home page. Visitors should click Read More some thing like that to read the full article.
3. Use Large rectangle (300x...) on the left hand side on all pages.
4. Insert Horizontal banner type ads in the middle of the full page post
5. Use tall ads on the right hand site.

 

I dont see any problem in your blog in terms of ad location at all.Please wait for some more time till you get traffic and your ctr will increase automatically.Try to concentrate on bringing traffic to your site.
