    Hi,

I am planning to use drupal for my site, galazia.com.
    I am using godaddy hosting.
Drupal 6.13 is used and I have uploaded the drupal files into the root folder and I have created a settings.php folder in the site/ default folder.
After that i created a mysql database.
I am a newbie in this field.
I have done all this with the help of instructions available from the internet.
Next instruction is to run install.php file. But its not working.
    Can anyone help?

If you're a newbie, I would advise not to use Drupal, it's one of the trickest CMS around.

That doesn't compare with Wordpress. You can set up a new site in less than a minute, that's har to beat! I'm planning 2 new large sites within the next 2 weeks, I couldn't do it with Drupal.

I want my websites to be quick to install and manage, so I can devote more time to content.

I learned Joomla... it was just a bit harder than Wordpress
and definitely worth the small bit of effort.

I tell people to use a a CMS that has the ability to expand with
their needs. The OP must have BIIIIG plans. :)

I always keep reminding people that "Google is your Friend". As long as you've been smart enough to choose one of the more popular CMS's, such as Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, etc... you can easily and quickly discover the answer to anything you need to know.

For example, I recently revamped my BestJudo.com website from static HTML to Drupal... and I was getting 'doubled' comments. Every single comment was repeated. So I typed "Drupal Doubled Comments" into a Google search, and discovered that my Dev version of the "Fivestar" module was the culprit.

Total time to see the problem, and fix it? Well under 10 minutes. And I know virtually nothing about PHP. (Although my HTML skills are quite adequate.)

So pick a popular CMS, and remember that someone, somewhere, sometime has had the exact same problem, and posted... and Google knows where that post is...
