The past few days were good for me however i'm having a bad day today. I have increased my traffic with good quality traffic and thought sales would go up however nothting happened. I know the web traffic I'm getting on my sites and this is not even close to the CB stats they have. Turst me i'm tracking it right. How can i not get more sale with tripple the traffic. I do not understand this. This sucks
Come on. You cant blame clickbank based on 1-day observations. If it persists for 2 weeks then we can talk.
I havent had any issues. Most of the products I promote are converting at like 1/20. Maybe I'm just really convincing
I experience some days that the cb tracking is not correct but the vast majority of the time it is ok.
Having more traffic doesnt guarantee more sales, all depends on the product and how good it is. This week I've noticed a sharp increase in sales , I'm thinking its due to the end of the holiday season!
Usually I don't go for the CB Conspiracy Thearies, but here are some facs, take them for what you will: - I average around 1000 Hops daily, split between a handful of products. - Traffic is consistent, natural SEO / BUM traffic. - I track EVERYTHING. Traffic comes from the same sources, day-in, day-out - My typical sales ratio (sales:hops) is: 1:45 - 1:65 This trend has held true for well over a year. Here's where it gets weird: - Sunday, my conversion rate unexplainably went to 1:109 . In two years, it has never been even close to this bad. - Monday, it dropped back to better than usually - 1:40 - Tuesday, shot back up to 1:111 - Wednesday, good again... - Today, 375 Hops, NOT A SINGLE SALE! Do I think CB is intentionally screwing me? No Do I think something is up, either with Payment Processing, Tracking, etc? ABSOLUTELY! Jim
I think part of the problem is people check their stats to often. I know what you guys mean - I'll have a $120 day followed by a $30 day with the same traffic. The conversion ratio jumps around and it can get really frustrating. However, if you focus on longer term (by week or month) stats, you'll see that your overall conversion ratio and revenue moves back toward a more stable, reasonable amount. Looking to hard at hourly/daily stats will just get you worked up.
I think part of the problem is, there's a problem. This problem may or may not be perpetrated by CB on purpose, but there's Definitely a problem. CB affiliates have a very high complaint ratio compared to other affiliate networks, and I'm certain that's not coincidental. I've also found that Vendors seem to be unaffected by this problem. ...problem seems to be directly related to affiliates only (non vendors).
I was wondering about the stats too because I had 2 sales order impressions, but only 1 of them converted to a sale. If 2 people hit the submit button why did only 1 count? Or maybe the one person had CC issues or something like that.
This is common dude, there is some problem in CB tracking and also they reject so many credit cards, move on to some other good networks.
