$50 Header Design Contest

I’ve been struggling with a header for many months and finally decided to hire professionals to take a crack at it. However, I’m still not satisfied and recent feedback has suggested I redesign the header. This go around I thought I would post a $50 Contest to the freelancers here at Digital Point.

- The site is www.MoneyStance.com
- 1000x150 (can go up to 1000x200 if need be)
- I’d like to keep with the green color scheme of the website template and logo, such as … 17361E… 5A6264… 2E874F
- Feel free to use the logo in your efforts http://www.moneystance.com/images/logo.JPG
- Somehow I’d like Money Making Opportunities, impartial reviews, money in real estate, money online, personal finance, and entrepreneurial opportunities to be conveyed in the header… what an undertaking!
- If you can squeeze in the following slogan somewhere it would be appreciated: “Money Making Opportunities online, in real estate, self employment, business, finance, & more with categorized and convenient archives, independent editorial and unbiased user reviews, customer scores and satisfaction ratings, and impartial discussion forum and blogs.”

This contest will end Friday 10am EST. The winner will receive $50 via paypal once the rights to the header have been transferred to me. Should I not find a header that I deem better than the one already on MoneyStance.com, I may delay the contest or give my favorite a $10 gratuity.

I like how you implemented the long slogan in your design, the breakup and color differences definitely make it easier and more welcoming to read. Out of the 3 you submitted, I think design 3 is in the lead.

Thanks for throwing your example on the site to see how it would work out. The slogan’s a bit small and the additional text in the header doesn’t work. I think all the information I want to convey in the header is in that slogan. I don’t mind if you cut up the slogan and implement it however you wish, but try not to add anymore words than is needed.

 

I was thinking…If anyone has a great idea that doesn’t include the color scheme or the logo I have provided, feel free to spread your wings and get creative. I can modify the colors of my template simple enough if someone comes up with something grand. However, more than likely I’ll stick with the green tones and the current logo.

 

Could you request that those who entered through PM post their entries here? Its usually not very fair, and feedback towards their entries help improve all entries.

 

Is whats on your site currently the header the professional designed?

 

I agree V06-TECH. Although I can’t force them to do so, but I’ll post here with any feedback I have given them.

PM feedback sent: One of the problems with the current header has been that most feedback I received did not like the four segregated pictures. I wonder if there is a way to streamline and intertangle the pictures into a fluid un-separated concept.

Let’s not get into that V06, it’s a longer story than it should be. I’ll just say refunds are hard to come by and 100% satisfaction means 10% satisfaction. How about yourself, do you want to give it a go?

 

I was going to, but i've become quite busy. I may depending on how long the contest stays open.

Thanks everyone for your submissions, I have chosen a header designed by JacoArmy which I’ll ask him or her to post for all to see after we have completed some final touches. This has been the most productive way to get a header designed to my liking and I very much appreciate your efforts. Keep posted as I will soon host another contest for the design of a few banners for an Advertising campaign.

@Kylven.. maybe you should contact Lucidious about his entry. It looks like he recreated your logo? I'm not sure if that was the only size you had but it just doesn't look so clear on these entries. It looks like Lucidious might have vectored it, maybe that could come in handy. Up to you ^_^
