New website indexed by google in 4 days.

Hello,
I registered www.FreeWD.Org on the 4th of Aug 2006.

Today on the 8th its 2 pages appeared in the google index. WOW!..

thanks to DP.

 

What did you do?

 

All the usual things..

1. Submit to google.--http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
2. Submit to web directories
3. Places a google sitemap & pinged google

that's all i think

That is great. It happened with some of my sites too.

 

I guess you just got lucky...

 

no need to submit, just add the site on your sig.

 

hmm maybe i should just register on tonnes of forums and add a sig to my profile

 

I think that is nothing unusual because I have always found Google indexes sites within 2-3 days.

 

Best I've had is 48 hours from putting the link in one of my other Google sites! Couldn't believe it!

 

One of my other websites took almost 6 months to appear on the G index.

 

I placed a link to a new website on one of my PR7 pages yesterday, and today it has 19 pages in Google.

 

I got a 4 day old site indexed in google aswell. I just checked how and its home page is their. Weird eh?

 

try it again and see how long the new website will take to get indexed.

 

Nice work mate, gotta give that sitemap stuff a go I think.

 

when ever i need to get a new URL indexed I add it to my Sig on all these forums,, its about 7,000 post total, and it doesn't take long to get the bots crawling

My site showed up very shortly after I submitted my first sitemap. I do think that the sig here helped as well.

 

I have a site that was indexed recently in 2 days.. no joke... I was shocked

 

all you need is a couple good incoming links to get indexed. I've had sites show up in less than 24 hours.

 

Sitemaps is good for any kind of sites? or there is also some sort of rules (no this kind or that kind of sites...)
