Right now I'm using FreeAutobot. Like the name says, it's free. There are no limits as to how many followup emails you can send and how large your list can be. It's pretty easy to set up and most email providers are not blacklisting it.

The downside is you have to put up with adverts in your control panel and they do some self promotion in your followup emails. No big deal because it's free.

This is a good option if you have limited or no funds to spend on a paid autoresponder service. I'm on a tight budget, so I like to utilize anything that's free.:)

I copy and paste the signup form into the lead capture pages I use in traffic exchanges and listbuilders. I make sure my lead capture pages are not too wordy and get to the point.

Whatever you do, never get an autoresponder script and install it in your webhosting account, even if it's free. All it takes is one complaint to your webhosting company to get your account suspended.

The best paid autoresponder in my opinion is Aweber, a little pricey but worth it.

Getresponse works for an average non-savvy internet user like myself.

Very user-friendly and helpful technical support for any questions you want to ask.

    Give it a try!

thats great if there's no limit on how you could sent the email.. as most of the free autoresponder either have limits or you have to install it in your server.. if you have to install it in your server, in my opinion, you shouldn't do that cause most hosting provider won't allowed that especially if your list is quite big..

i dont really like the downside of this free autoresponder because as you said, they include advert in your mail and then they do some promotion on their own using your list.. its quite annoying for your subscriber sometimes.. but if your just starting and just want to try it out, you could simply use free autoresponder and when you are ready to move on, start using paid one.

how much do you guys paid?.. most new marketer or new list builder is on tight budget and cant afford expensive autoresponder to start with.. as awaber is charging base on the amount of your list..

If you're just starting out and have a tight budget, i recommended norabot as they deliver service like other expensive autoresponder with more affordable price.. only $9.97.. checkout my signature if you want to try norabot.. ;)

if you're just starting you should go for it, but if your planning for the long term, better get yourself a paid autoresponder so you wont face any problem later on..

$49/month for 4000++ subscribers. Their price is reasonable for what they offered.

Do you really use norabot or just want to promote your signature link?

I heard their speed is pretty slow and the support is also not good. But having so many alternative is always good.

Most list builders make $1 per month per subscriber. Based on awebers excellent delivery rate, non-spam complaints and prices, I'd say it's very easy to profit.

Right now my list is only small. I've already made $80 this month which is a $60 profit after paying the aweber fees.

wow.. thats a huge number of subscribers you have (for me). of course im using norabot.. just start using it actually.. and because of the satisfaction that i got with their service, thats the reason why im promoting it.. just giving an opportunity for new marketer to start collecting list (using paid autoresponder) who has tight budget (like me).. As im also giving rebate for them to try norabot, so i think its a good deal..
